I think it is safe to say that for the vast majority of us, the answer to that question is that we either take a pill to make the symptoms temporarily go away, or we rest for a little while until the pain and discomfort subsides. When the spinal column is misaligned, the central nervous system is directly affected so that communication between the body and the brain is interrupted. When this occurs, the body may weaken and may become more vulnerable to illness and injury. By seeing a chiropractor regularly, your spinal column will always be examined and adjusted properly in order to prevent this downward spiral from possibly affecting you.
